"NOWHERE TO GO BUT EVERYWHERE"

-11 songs-
Release date 09.22.2023

Recorded in her late Father’s empty house shortly after he passed, Cassie’s first full-length album holds stories of various kinds of grief; it brings together the pain and joys of human existence in an honest way, using a combination of ethereal soundscapes, acoustic instruments, and emotional vocal clarity.

"The album's opening track, "Jennings Creek", sets the tone with Cassie's voice being accompanied only by her acoustic guitar (along with a touch of bass). These are the sounds that I've come to know and love.

But what sets this release apart from her previous work is the superior production. The reverb is set to accentuate the purity of her voice rather than to mask any flaws. The instrumentation, while more than interesting on its own, is designed to support the song. There's a little bit more "space", giving way to introspection and fleeing thoughts. There's a certain atmosphere that hovers over this album.

It reminds you of those few minutes between the sunset and complete darkness. Cassie continues to grow as a musician." - Olivier LeBlanc

Finding beauty in madness, trying to find the words to share it. Cassie's Indie Folk Pop style is mellow, heavy with emotion, and overflowing with honesty. The music she creates feels calm and surreal, like sitting by a fire in the middle of nowhere.

After years of performing and creating  music with The Do Good Badlies ('bluesy folkin' grunge rock'), Cassie released her first solo EP in 2019. She now has two EPs and a newly released full length album (2023), created in the wake of losing her father, and recorded in his empty house.

Noble was awarded Gold in Kawartha Lakes Reader's Choice 2021 "Local Musician [or] Band", Gold in Lindsay's Community Votes 2023, and longlisted for the 2022 Faith Nolan Music Award. Notable performances include Sofar Sounds, Rogers Hometown Hockey, Wintersong Fest, Springtide Festival, Yukon Rendezvous Festival, and opening for Bif Naked. Cassie recently toured Eastern US, Eastern Canada + Ontario, and Yukon Territory.

PRESS

"The narrative Cassie Noble creates is an honest story; like the emerging artist, it goes through confusion and fear to eventually find happiness. Find A Way features relatable lyrics and chordal simplicity, but tugs harder at the heartstrings than your average folk song. Noble’s vocals have the dynamism and emotion of a good storyteller." - Tia Julien, Dominionated

"Cassie’s vocals are grandiose, she has such a unique voice. [...] You can say without any doubt that Lost at Sea has all the elements of a modern gem." - Lefuturewave

"A voice that does sadness so very well and sustains it admirably" - mp3hugger

"Powerful, passionate and heartfelt […] burning with raw emotion as yearning vocals rise above equally raw, sparse strum - it is powerful and compelling" - BarryGruff

"Cassie’s music is an overflowing cascade of emotion and soul that’s delivered through delicately expressed gut punching honesty. As her personal statement reflects, Cassie is on a journey “finding beauty in madness”. A statement of the times indeed." - The Q LGBTQ Creative Network

"The soaring vocals, sweeping and moody instrumentation, and emotional lyrics come together to create a great and intense listening experience." - Weitblick Records

"It builds a head of steam, the kind that is not entirely obvious from the quiet but atmospheric opening. But then we know what Cassie Noble is capable of, a voice that can soar and always surrounded by playing that is equally adept at swallowing our attention whole. This time I was reminded of the Innocence Mission, that emotional stirring that is rare but when it is felt everything other pursuit is put to one side. 'Spinning' achieves a majesty, a amorous gesture that will appeal even to those with fewer romantic bones in their body than most. It circulates, it cajoles but most of all it glories in the thought of someone else dear." -mp3hugger

"I keep falling for all my friends," into the synth-touched immersion captivates, reminding fondly of Mitski in tone and rises from lonesome contemplation to raucous rock engagement" - Obscure Sound
